Be the voice our customers rely on! Our Customer Service team are the voice of Cement Australia. Whether its answering a call or responding to emails, you play a pivotal role in order processing and issue resolution. We see you as the glue between customers and the broader logistics team and a valuable part of our business.
The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, plus approximately one Saturday per month from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, at an overtime rate.
Your Opportunity
You’ll be based in our Pinkenba office, working alongside a team of Customer Service Officers. As a team, you will:
- Be the first point of contact for our customers via phone and email
- Process orders and track delivery progress
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Proactively manage communication around transport delays or product availability
- Collaborate with the broader logistics team and bring ideas of how we can be better
What You’ll Bring
You are someone who thrives in your typical fast-paced, customer-focused environment and loves getting things done right. You also bring:
- Experience in a phone/email-based customer service or contact centre role
- Confidence handling high-volume order processing with accuracy and care
- Clear, professional communication and great problem-solving skills
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build internal and external relationships
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP would be a plus
- Experience in logistics, transport or industrial sectors (advantageous)
