With a team of around 200 people, we provide the most comprehensive allied health services in our sector with innovative rehabilitation centres across Melbourne, Hobart and Albury along with an extensive home visit and community-based service.

Team member package - A base salary of $80,000 - 120,000pa depending on experience plus company vehicle option, a work laptop and phone to separate work and play, and an incentive payment structure to reward your efforts.

Occupational Therapist at NeuroRehab

We are searching for a creative and confident Neurological Occupational Therapist to join our supportive multidisciplinary team at our Hobart clinic, based in Moonah . If you are an early career Occupational Therapist with the desire to progress your career, we absolutely have the ability to support in Hobart as our current team is made up of majority Senior Clinician OT's.
The position is ideal for applicants with full-time availability, however, applications with part-time availability or those seeking school-friendly hours are encouraged to apply.

The caseload will be working with the adult population and assisting people with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and a diverse range of other neurological conditions.

Clinical snapshot (depending on experience):

• Delivery of therapeutic services including OT assessments, interventions, treatment planning, education, and reporting.
• Supervision of less experienced OTs.
• Contribution to screening of new referrals, delegation of referrals to staff, and clinical risk management planning
• Opportunities to participate in projects and innovative service development for the Department and wider MDT.
• Hands-on with the recruitment process for new team members. If you have an eye for people and OT skills, building the team is a rewarding experience!
• Prescription and funding requests of AT as required.
• Home modification assessments and requests.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team..

Our clients are predominantly NDIS participants and My Aged Care-funded clients.

Requirements

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• 1+ years of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination.

Desirable

• Experience working within a NDIS framework.
• Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology.
