Fulltime, permenant position for experienced welder 5+years
40hrs per week - $76515pa

Must be able to read drawings
Able to weld to Australian Standards
Work as part of a team or individually
Able to follow instructions or ask for further clarification

Duties will include but not restricted to:
Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to dertermine job requirements
Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
Shaping and bending metal sections and ipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions
Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding
