  • Help enable prosperity and sustainability in regional Australian communities
  • Join a team that genuinely cares, values you and is always getting more diverse
  • Countless ways to flex your hours and days to make work work your way

We’ve never been ‘just a bank’. Just like you should never be ‘just an employee’. We’re united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we’re making it happen.

It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.

Supporting our local Agribusiness Relationship Managers, your role as our Agribusiness Relationship Associate is built on your expertise in engaging and communicating with customers and take genuine care in supporting their needs.

You effectively build relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders alike, acting as a critical conduit between the front line and support teams. You have high attention to detail and the ability to be flexible, remain organised and prioritise in a busy role.

In return you will have access to a career pathway to become an Agribusiness Relationship Manager. And you’ll feel proud to see how your work helps your local community thrive.

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you’ll make your mark by:

  • Support Agribusiness Relationship Managers and their customer portfolio, giving you exposure to our larger and more complex customers.
  • Deepen existing customer relationships through understanding our customers’ needs and providing relevant solutions across all Agribusiness product suites.
  • Onboard new customers, obtain all necessary information and documentation, complete the application form and look after all ongoing portfolio maintenance.
  • Build strong relationships with our customers via phone and email, as well as having the opportunity to join in on customer visits - in line with our customer value proposition to make business personal.

What you’ll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline
  • Experienced in or solid knowledge of agribusiness lending and credit risk principles
  • Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements
  • Up-to-date knowledge of agriculture market conditions, agribusiness products, cash flows and markets would be beneficial
  • The ability to proactively support your dedicated Bankers in thinking outside the square to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions

So, why work with us?

  • Want big impact that matters? Here, you’ll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
  • Want to be more than just a number? Join a team that truly values you – and that gets more and more diverse, every day.
  • Want career opportunity AND flexibility? Achieve both here, where we know that balance and progression go hand in hand.

You’ll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:

  • Hybrid work? Our flexible work options are designed to suit your life – talk to us about what flexibility means to you.
  • Health and wellbeing support, including discounted gym memberships, and private health insurance options.
  • Take your learning to the next level through opportunities like our corporate university ‘BEN U’ or at an external provider of your choice.

This role can be located at any regional or corporate hub across South Australia. Talk to us about what flexibility in your career means to you.

We’re making better, bigger. And we’ll get there with you.

Apply now! Now’s the time to set your sights even higher – on the future you and the future career you deserve.

We are committed to responding to all candidates, regardless of the outcome of your application.

We believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success, and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business. We support candidate requests for adjustment to accommodate an illness, injury or disability to equitably participate in the selection process.
