We are seeking a Financial Accountant to play an integral part in ensuring that AV continues to be compliant with regulatory and statutory requirements.

This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster Headquarters in line with our hybrid working model.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:

  • Preparing accurate financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and managing statutory compliance
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure reports are accurate, complete, timely and insightful
  • Supporting month end and year end close processes including audit coordination
  • Investigating financial discrepancies, to ensure financial reporting integrity and recommend effective resolutions
  • Deliver expert advice and timely insights to senior management to support decision-making
  • Providing financial guidance across the organisation

About you

To be considered for this position you will possess:

  • Completion of a degree or relevant industry certification in Accounting, Finance or related field with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
  • Qualification with relevant professional body (CPA or CA or equivalent programs)
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong working knowledge in accounting principles and concepts
  • High level of integrity to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and maintain confidentiality
