  • Base Salary Range: $58,709 - $63,154 p.a

About the Role:

As the Patient Master Index (PMI) Coordinator , you’ll serve as the key point of contact between clinical and administrative teams, helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of patient records across the Local Health Network. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you will play a vital role in resolving duplicate registration issues prior to patient admission, supporting seamless care delivery.

In this position, you’ll work closely with medical records staff and hospital teams, assist with registration processes, and provide training and mentoring to administrative staff and triage nurses. Your attention to detail and collaborative approach will help maintain high standards of data quality and system efficiency—contributing to the safe and effective care of every patient.

About You:

  • Experience working as a team member where flexibility and cooperation are required.
  • Demonstrated previous experience of at least six months in quality assurance and data integrity activities on a large database of patient information, or similar.
  • Experience in a client records department.
