Join our SCA Melbourne Finance team, where your success is at the heart of everything we do.
What does your day to day look like?

Deliver accurate and complete month-end reporting, journal entries, and maintenance of accruals, provisions, and prepayments.

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, manage tasks such as commission calculations, JV reporting, fixed assets, intangible assets, sundry invoicing, and banking administration

Support ongoing forecasts, variance analysis, and collaborate with Commercial Finance to deliver annual budgets, with a focus on centralised expenses.

Prepare data for external audits and statutory reporting, and manage tax and compliance obligations including FBT, GST, income tax, WHT, and payroll tax.

Drive enhancements in accounting policies, internal controls, and business processes, while maintaining organised support and process documentation.

Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, respond to finance queries, contribute to ad hoc projects, and act as a backup during team absences.
What you’ll need:
- Accounting degree qualified
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role / environment
- Intermediate Excel, MS Office and ERP system skills (SAP experience highly desirable, but not essential)
- Significant experience in financial accounting and preparation / review of general ledger accounts and trial balance
- Demonstrated experience utilising fundamental business accounting skills relation to income tax, FBT and GST
- Ability to add value and assist in the development of enhanced processes
- High levels of accountability, attention to detail, and resourcefulness
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Exposure to media industry highly regarded
