The Role
An exciting and rewarding opportunity to join a close-knit team dedicated to maintaining high standards at The Grace Hotel Sydney. This role is ideally suited to a natural leader who has a keen eye for detail and the ability to drive service at every level. You will be part of the Front Office Team, have the ability to implement and maintain a high standard of customer service in all areas of our operation.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in all areas of staff training, development, and discipline across Front Desk and Concierge.
- Maintaining a hotel log, following up on guest complaints or concerns as they occur,r and ensuring closure with a positive outcome.
- Working closely with the Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance departments to ensure that the Hotel's rooms are properly prepared for arriving guests.
- Working closely with your team on shift to oversee all other areas of operations of the hotel in the absence of the Executive Team.
- Previous experience in a 4- or 5-star reputable hotel is essential; you must have at least 2 years' experience as a Senior Team Leader/ Supervisor or currently working as an Assistant Manager/ Duty Manager.
The successful candidate must possess:
- Excellent grooming and presentation.
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Sydney sightseeing spots and general information.
- 4- or 5-star hotel experience essential.
- The ability to work professionally under pressure.
- The passion for providing every guest with a positive experience.
- Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including Night Manager reliever shifts.
