Role purpose
The role of the National Media Sales Executive is to drive media sales income across the national shopping centre portfolio and a particular focus on Chadstone. You will support the success of the Vicinity Media team by actively engaging and managing a client/agency portfolio and work with centre teams to develop strong relationships and plans that ensure income opportunities are identified & revenue targets are achieved. You will also collaborate with shopping centre teams to ensure individual targets are achieved, occupancy rates of all retail media sites are maximised and that meaningful retail media campaigns are delivered successfully.Key Accountabilities
Media & Campaign Management
- Ensuring targets are achieved and exceeded each year through business development, new business and innovation
- Build relationships with key Stakeholders including agencies, direct clients, and internal teams to drive income opportunities
- Use insights and date to enhance sales presentations & responses to drive income
- Collaborate with centre teams and internal departments to identify income opportunities and team efficiencies
- Smooth delivery of campaigns to ensure income is maximised and growth for repeat business
Relationship Management & Collaboration
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including agencies, direct clients and internal teams to drive income opportunities.
- Identify and attract potential clients through new leads, cold calls, and existing relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their advertising needs are met.
- Collaborate with centre teams and internal departments to identify income opportunities and team efficiencies.
Market Insight & Reporting
- Use insights and date to enhance sales presentations and responses to drive income.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitors to provide clients with the best advertising solutions.

Experience & Capabilities
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE (what you have done)
- An experienced media professional with in-depth understanding of sales, with a demonstrated exceptional sales outcome and track record, exceeding sales revenue against territory budgets.
CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE (what you need to know)
- Strong familiarity and understanding of Media and the outdoor advertising sector.
CAPABILITIES (what you can do)
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- An ability to develop and manage relationships with key clients to secure both opportunistic and long-term income streams.
- Exceptional customer focus on delivering analysis to enhance the customer experience is top priority.
- Strong networking skills with an ability to work with internal and external partners.
