  • Full-time temporary up to 30/6/26

About the Role

As the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) Coordinator, you will lead the development and implementation of inclusive strategies that ensure CALHN services are accessible and responsive to the needs of people with disability. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the progress of CALHN’s DAIP, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring commitments are met in line with established timeframes.

You will collaborate with leaders, staff, carers, consumer representatives, and key internal and external partners to promote disability access and inclusion across the organisation. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, you will help shape a more inclusive health service that values and empowers individuals of all abilities.

About You

You are a motivated and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of disability access, equity, and inclusion. Your ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively will ensure success in this impactful role.

  • Proven experience in project management, reporting, and delivering successful outcomes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including policy writing and stakeholder engagement.

  • Demonstrated understanding of disability-related policy, equity issues, and legislative frameworks.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
