Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Northern Territory to find a Clinical Operations Manager to join their team.This role offers the chance to lead health centre operations across multiple communities in the Katherine region, supporting Health Centre Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally safe, high-quality primary health care.
The Role:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across remote health centres, ensuring safe and effective clinical care.
- Support Health Centre Managers in staffing, rostering, performance management, and service planning.
- Drive Continuous Quality Improvement and maintain accreditation (RACGP & ISO:9001).
- Promote culturally safe care, empowering Aboriginal Health Practitioners as key providers.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic and operational goals.
- Base salary: $135,000 + 12% superannuation
- Relocation support up to $4,500 + access to $7,000 NT PHN relocation grant
- 6 weeks’ annual leave + salary packaging to maximise take-home pay
- Professional development opportunities and leadership support
- Registered with AHPRA as a General Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner (essential)
- Postgraduate qualification or strong experience in Public Health, Primary Health Care, Leadership, or Management (preferred)
- Proven experience in remote or regional primary health care , ideally with a demonstrated understanding of challenges in these settings
- Strong leadership and operational management skills , including managing human, financial, and physical resources in a health centre
- Experience with performance management, staff supervision, and professional development in clinical teams
- Solid knowledge of clinical governance, accreditation standards (RACGP, ISO 9001), and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes
