The Role:

We are currently seeking a full-time Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to undertake a leadership role at our Baptcare Northaven Community located in Kerang, Victoria. Our community is known for its active and engaged residents who value contributing and participating in various lifestyle events. The primary objective of this role is to curate and oversee a tailored Lifestyle program that aligns with resident preferences, promoting independence and active engagement while fostering a sense of happiness. In addition to program development, the Lifestyle Coordinator will provide mentorship and guidance to the team, ensuring a high standard of support for resident well-being and contentment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate positive, supportive relationships with residents and their families.
  • Develop, implement, and assess personalised Lifestyle Care Plans.
  • Curate a monthly calendar of activities and special events.
  • Foster strong collaborations with Care staff, Volunteers, and the Pastoral Care team to ensure a comprehensive, empathetic, and holistic approach to resident well-being.

About You:

  • Possess a vibrant and cheerful disposition.
  • Hold a Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
  • Demonstrate relevant experience in team leadership.
  • Exhibit proficient computer literacy, including the ability to create promotional materials like flyers, program calendars, and newsletters.
