We are currently working with a number of respected housing providers across Brisbane who are seeking experienced Tenancy Managers to join their teams. These roles are pivotal in overseeing tenancy services, leading housing operations, and ensuring the delivery of safe, sustainable, and compliant housing for tenants.
Whether your strengths lie in portfolio management, compliance, or leading a frontline tenancy team, opportunities exist to step into meaningful leadership roles that make a genuine impact on individuals and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tenancy management functions, ensuring compliance with legislation and organisational policies.
- Oversee rent and arrears management, allocations, inspections, and dispute resolution.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to housing officers and tenancy staff.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with tenants, contractors, community partners, and government agencies.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide reporting on tenancy trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive service improvements and contribute to organisational housing strategies.
You’re a confident, people-focused professional who thrives on balancing operational detail with strategic oversight. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in tenancy, housing, or property management (social housing experience highly regarded).
- Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Organisational ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualifications in social housing, property, or community services (desirable).
