About the role

Vivad is seeking a driven and innovative Continuous Improvement Officer to join our team in our Campbellfield, Victoria location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving our documentation of processes, leading our RCA investigations and identifying opportunities for improvement. The role will suit a person with a background of QA and high knowledge of lean processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct thorough process reviews and analyses to pinpoint areas for improvement across our manufacturing and logistics operations

  • Develop standardised SOP's in conjunction with operators to set baseline processes

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing techniques, to streamline workflows and eliminate waste

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to facilitate the adoption of new processes and technologies

  • Track and measure the impact of improvement initiatives, providing regular progress reports to key stakeholders

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimise resource utilisation, and enhance overall operational performance

  • Lead RCA investigations and provide training and support to employees to build a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Officer or in a similar role within a manufacturing or logistics environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement sustainable solutions

  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence teams at all levels

  • Familiarity with data analysis and performance measurement techniques

  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • A passion for driving operational excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement
