About the Role As a Support Worker, you will assist NDIS participants to achieve their personal goals, build their independence, and actively participate in their community. This may include:
- Providing personal care (e.g., hygiene, grooming, dressing)
- Domestic assistance (e.g., meal preparation, cleaning)
- Community access and social participation (e.g., outings, appointments,
events)
- Transporting clients safely to and from activities
- Supporting clients with routines, medication reminders, and skill development
- Working alongside families, carers, and allied health professionals to ensure
holistic support ✅ About You We’re looking for people who are reliable, respectful, and passionate about inclusive care. You will ideally have:
- Prior experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or community
support
- A person-centred approach and strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours across weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
Essential:
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Blue Card
- Current
First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module (free online)
Desirable:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, Individual Support,
Mental Health or similar
- Lived experience or bilingual/bi-cultural skills are highly valued
