About the role

The role of Support Worker Advisor is to oversee and nurture our team of growing community Support workers, who are the vital key part of our business. The Support Worker Advisor will work within a growing team who work together to ensure the ongoing services our support workers deliver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the quality of care delivered
  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Supervise and mentor support workers
  • Work in collaboration with other team members
  • Identify training needs as well as running trainings and introductions

About you

  • A Certificate III in Community, aged or Independent Care or relevant/related field
  • Full valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle
  • Smart phone
  • Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
  • Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
