The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate accountant to join our team at Bentleys Queensland. This is a role that promises a stimulating and fulfilling start to your career. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring precision, regulatory adherence and comprehensive financial support for a wide array of clients:

These are some of the things you'll do:

  • Prepare financial statements
  • Prepare tax returns for all entities
  • Prepare Business and Instalment Activity Statements
  • Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters
  • Involvement with tax planning for clients
  • Reconciling accounting files (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks etc.)
  • Liaising with the ATO

About you

You've got your accounting degree and now you're ready to put your skills to the test in our Graduate Accountant role! You're a well organised, self-starter with confidence. You pride yourself on your ability to communicate and build genuine connection with a wide range of people. You'll be empowered to manage your own time and can be counted on to meet your goals. You'll think ahead and show initiative while we support and mentor you, developing your practical ability.
