Role Overview:

The Social Producer role is for those with strong experience in social content production, project management, and studio processes. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end production of social-first content — from ideation and planning through to shoot, edit, and delivery — across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.

You will lead the execution of mid- to large-scale social and content shoots (both in studio and on location), managing all aspects including permits, props, locations, and talent. You’ll balance creative innovation with production discipline — maintaining budgets, timelines, and clear communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Operating in a fast-paced, always-on environment, you’ll also need to mobilize quickly in response to trending moments and cultural conversations — producing reactive, platform-native content at speed without compromising quality.

Working closely with creative, strategy, and account teams, you’ll deliver agile, high-quality, and platform-native content that drives engagement and cultural impact. The development focus will include large-scale integrated campaigns as well as social-first activations to support broader business growth and creative excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end project scoping and delivery of social-first campaigns and retainer work
  • Day-to-day management of content production including shoot planning, scheduling, and on-set execution
  • Permit applications, location management, and coordination of production logistics
  • Talent and influencer sourcing, negotiation, and management within budget parameters
  • Budget ownership, cost tracking, and reconciliation for all owned projects
  • Traffic and resource management to ensure projects are adequately supported and delivered on time
  • Development and management of production runsheets and timelines to ensure efficient execution
  • Internal and external communication throughout all stages of production
  • Produce a range of social-first content from high-production shoots to quick-turnaround, lower-fi, and reactive content as required.
  • Demonstrate speed and agility in responding to emerging trends, social moments, and platform opportunities.
  • Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to bring social concepts to life
  • Partner with clients to understand business goals, offering innovative and platform-appropriate solutions
  • Assist with large-scale integrated campaign production and social amplification
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture through mentorship and feedback
  • Support influencer and community management strategies alongside client and social teams
  • Stay current with emerging social trends, tools, and technologies to enhance production workflows
  • Identify opportunities to improve social content delivery and creative efficiency
  • Help evolve Tag’s social content offering and explore new partnerships, creators, and formats
  • Develop best practices for social production and champion excellence in execution
  • Champion a culture of speed, adaptability, and innovation in social production to ensure content remains timely, relevant, and impactful.
