Description:
- Assist in the development and execution of category strategies to meet business objectives.
- Maintain and update promotional calendars, ensuring accurate slotting and timely communication to stakeholders.
- Track and reconcile promotional spend and claims, supporting budget management and reporting.
- Prepare and manage scan sales reports and other category performance data for internal reviews.
- Provide administrative support for category initiatives, including invoice matching and purchase order processing.
- Use Excel to maintain trackers, analyze promotional performance, and assist with monthly reporting.
- Collaborate with Category Manager and Marketing team to ensure smooth execution of promotions and accurate data flow.
Requirements:
A successful Category Coordinator should have:
- Previous experience in Category within the FMCG industry.
- Strong Excel skills for managing trackers and reporting.
- Experience in promotional tracking and budget reconciliation.
- Ability to interpret scan sales data and support category insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Previous experience in FMCG or retail environment preferred
