Description:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee financial reporting processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and advice.
  • Manage the preparation of tax returns and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
  • Support the development of financial strategies and policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiencies.

Requirements:

A successful Group Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to work.

Conditions:

  • Competitive salary package between $117,000 and $133,000 AUD + superannuation.
