Description:
Reporting to the Manager, Business Services, the Business Support Officer provides pro-active administrative support to both the Business Services team and the broader Queensland Mental Health Commission.The key purpose of this role is to provide support for the administrative and business needs of the Commission, assisting our team to ensure that correct processes are followed that comply with policy and legislation and provide quality assurance that assists with the delegates' decision making.
This role requires excellent attention to detail and experience in working in an administrative office environment, including assisting with critical finance, human resource, ITS, and facilities functions, such as coordinating the onboarding and orientation of new staff, organising venues and catering for meetings, simple financial transactions, and corporate card reconciliation.
