Description:
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to support business objectives.
- Manage employee relations, ensuring compliance with workplace legislation and company policies.
- Support performance management processes and provide coaching to managers.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver training and development programs.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that align with the organisation's goals.
- Assisting with the payroll department.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- 1 year previous experience in a HR role (within the retail industry is advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR systems (Workday is essential) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
