Description:
As Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll services for the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing high-volume fortnightly payroll for employees within required time-frames.
- Maintaining and updating employee records in the payroll system, ensuring compliance and audit trails.
- Managing end-of-month payroll processing, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Responding to payroll-related queries and providing high-quality customer service.
- Administering payroll policies and procedures, including salary packaging arrangements.
- Entering data for new starters, variations, and terminations.
- Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of payroll records across systems.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, including PAYG, Superannuation, and Fair Work Act.
- Proficiency in payroll systems (CHRIS21 experience highly desirable).
- High attention to detail and ability to work within structured processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
