Nature’s Energy Day Spa & Bathhouse Group
Nature’s Energy is one of Sydney’s original bathhouse & day spa brands – a busy, soulful space for massage, beauty, bathhouse and wellness.
We’re looking for a hands-on Chief Operating Officer to lead our Group; currently 3 spa/bathhouse locations, 1 head office.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Your primary goal will be to increase our organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability. You will advise the CEO on key operational insights as well as provide coaching to employees.
Responsibilities
- Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy
- Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations including spa level, marketing, product
- Oversee payroll, rostering and staff management
- Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
- Present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO based on your market research
You will:
- Lead, coach and motivate a diverse spa, retail & front-of-house team
- Oversee smooth daily operations of the spa & bathhouse
- Manage an overseas bookings team (phones, sales, service)
- Own site performance – revenue, rosters, payroll & KPIs
- Recruit, onboard and develop new team members
- Protect an exceptional guest experience, every visit
You bring:
- 8 years of general management experience
- Experience as a COO in a medium sized business
- Strong leadership and organizational skills – you set the tone and lift the standard
- Strategic planning and business development experience
- Experience with budgets, rosters, labour ratios & sales targets
- Clear, calm communication and solid problem-solving skills
- A genuine love for health, wellness, spa or biohacking
