Description:
- Deploy Microsoft Defender for Endpoint using non-Intune methods.
- Uplift policy settings including Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) and blocking rules.
- Review and tune alerts within the Defender portal to improve detection and reduce false positives.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure best practices and compliance with organisational standards.
Requirements:
A successful Defender Security Engineer should have:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Defender End Point and security engineering practices.
- A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management.
- Experience uplifting policy settings (ASR, blocking rules).
