Description:

Responsibilities / Critical Deliverables

  • Deliver assigned workstreams, such as Australia-wide desktop refresh, laptop upgrades from Windows 10 to 11, and replacement of out-of-warranty laptops.
  • Communicate workstream updates to the business.
  • Support the Project Manager in organising and planning workstream deployments.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, including producing status reports, compiling Steering Committee packs, maintaining action logs and registers, and handling ad hoc reporting.
  • Manage the Change Request process, ensuring requests meet requirements before approval.
  • Track and follow up on project risks and issues.
  • Build, maintain, and analyse project schedules, escalating issues to the Project Manager as needed.
  • Provide administrative support, such as booking travel, attending meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining project registers.

Requirements:

Specific Skills:

  • Proven experience in laptop and/or desktop deployment projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience delivering infrastructure deployments to multiple people/sites.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and parallel projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, adaptable to IT PMO standards.
  • Previous experience in SAP Projects and Procurement modules is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Project Online (highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated success working with Project Managers in large, complex IT environments.
  • Team player with the ability to build relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative within project delivery timeframes.
  • Strong communication skills with business stakeholders, covering planning, progress updates, issue resolution, and post-deployment support.
