Description:

  • Analyse business and operational requirements to identify IT/OT solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather and document requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT and OT systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes and system functionalities.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support the implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in IT/OT integration.
  • Translate requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria to support agile delivery.
  • Assist in the creation of UAT test scripts, coordinate testing activities, and support business users during testing phases.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organisational policies.

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role or a role requiring expert business process analysis and improvement skills, within IT and OT Infrastructure environments
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead meetings and facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and elicit outcomes for successful business process design and procedures
  • Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple dependencies.
  • Proven ability in the elicitation of business issues, business rules and information requirements using business process mapping
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
  • High level written and oral communication skills and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong team focus with the ability to be flexible and adapt to project related changes to ensure the best possible outcome for Aurizon
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly in an output orientated project structure
  • Ability to adapt between project and improvement requests.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Certifications (desirable): CBAP, ITIL, PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma.
