Description:
- Analyse business and operational requirements to identify IT/OT solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather and document requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT and OT systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes and system functionalities.
- Identify potential risks and issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support the implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in IT/OT integration.
- Translate requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria to support agile delivery.
- Assist in the creation of UAT test scripts, coordinate testing activities, and support business users during testing phases.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organisational policies.
Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role or a role requiring expert business process analysis and improvement skills, within IT and OT Infrastructure environments
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead meetings and facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and elicit outcomes for successful business process design and procedures
- Comfortable working in complex environments with multiple dependencies.
- Proven ability in the elicitation of business issues, business rules and information requirements using business process mapping
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- High level written and oral communication skills and excellent organisational skills
- Strong team focus with the ability to be flexible and adapt to project related changes to ensure the best possible outcome for Aurizon
- Self-motivated, with the ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly in an output orientated project structure
- Ability to adapt between project and improvement requests.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Certifications (desirable): CBAP, ITIL, PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma.
