Description:
As Group AP Manager, you will be responsible for building a high-performance culture, and driving transformation. This is not just about managing day-to-day processes - it's about setting the vision for AP excellence and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
Your remit will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a roadmap for AP that aligns with organisational objectives and supports the broader P2P cycle. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and championing best practice. The role oversees a team of 10 FTE.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to standardise processes, reduce complexity, and embed automation. Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that deliver cost savings, improve turnaround times, and enhance user experience.
- Performance Uplift: Create and implement reporting and dashboards that provide accurate, timely insights - both at a glance and analytically - to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Change Management: Drive cultural transformation within the AP team, fostering agility, accountability, and collaboration. Manage ERP optimisation projects and harmonisation across multiple systems.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee end-to-end AP processes, ensuring compliance with SOX, PTRS, and internal controls. Strengthen governance frameworks to mitigate risk and prevent fraud.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across Finance, Procurement, and Operations, ensuring AP is seen as a reliable, value-adding partner to the business.
This role requires a leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, moving seamlessly from resolving operational challenges to influencing at executive level.
Requirements:
- Extensive AP leadership experience - you know AP inside out and understand its role in the P2P cycle
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in complex, multi-site environments
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, and ERP systems
- Resilience, integrity, and professionalism - able to manage multiple priorities at pace
- Ability to work cross functionally and business partner
