What You’ll Do
As a Junior IT Support Technician, you’ll be part of a friendly and supportive IT team that keeps our systems running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to and resolving IT support tickets
- Setting up and configuring hardware such as laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Installing and updating software applications
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding users
- Supporting network, printer, and peripheral troubleshooting
- Maintaining and updating IT documentation and guides
- Helping with inventory and asset tracking
- Participating in ongoing IT projects and upgrades
- Required to be part of the on-call roster (once every few weeks)
- Store setup and travel opportunities
We’re not expecting you to know everything—but we do expect you to be:
- Willing to learn and eager to grow your IT knowledge
- A clear communicator who’s comfortable helping people at all levels
- Organised, reliable, and proactive
- Interested in technology and solving problems
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g. IP, DNS)
- Exposure to tools like Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or ticketing systems
- Configuring PC/Mobile hardware
- A supportive team that encourages growth and mentoring
- Opportunities for on-the-job training and career progression
