Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement process for all areas of Geely Auto In the local market, with focus on Marketing, Trade Marketing & Logistics categories.
  • Liaison between Geely Auto Australia and HQ regarding all the procurement matters.
  • Sourcing of indirect goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Collaborate closely with HQ and internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure alignment with business strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in key areas such as transportation, storage, promotion, advertising, and events, considering criteria such as quality, reliability, cost, and compliance capacity.
  • Negotiate contracts with selected suppliers, ensuring favourable conditions in terms of prices, delivery times, quality, and service.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during contract execution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise costs and improve efficiency in the supply chain and marketing activities, in coordination with internal and external teams.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor relevant trends in the automotive industry to identify improvement opportunities and maintain competitiveness.
  • Participate in Tender processes and proposal evaluation, ensuring that requirements for quality, price, and time are met in all purchasing areas.
  • Develop policies and procedures for purchasing processes, including strategies such as single source and supplier recommendation, ensuring transparency and efficiency in procurement operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing transactions and contracts, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and legal regulations.
  • Provide comprehensive support across all aspects of the company’s business and operational management.
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of company projects to ensure objectives, timelines, and budgets are achieved; coordinate cross-functional resources, track progress, and prepare management updates and reports.
  • Act as a professional Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to the CEO, providing high-level administrative, scheduling, communication, and coordination support.
  • Undertake duties or contribute to projects that are related to the Company's business operations, including but not limited to providing leadership or support as reasonably required and consistent with the responsibilities of the role.



Preferred competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing or related field.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally across marketing, logistics or indirect categories.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience in tendering, supplier evaluation, and contract management.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional projects and support general business operations.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting senior executives.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, experience with procurement systems (e.g. SAP, Coupa or Oracle) preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Applicants must have full working rights in Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Current Australian Drivers licence.

  • The primary workplace is based in Sydney at our newly renovated modern office with electric adjustable sit-stand desks.
