About The Role
We are hiring a Plant Operator for our Chlor Alkali Plant in Kwinana, WA, for a full-time permanent role. This position is a continuous shift position operating on 4 days on [2 day shifts then 2 night shifts] and 4 days off roster . Leadership experience will be highly regarded, but motivated applicants with strong operational experience who are ready to step up are also encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control all aspects of plant operation under the direction of the shift supervisor
- Carry out a wide variety of duties when spare operator as directed by Supervisor or Superintendent
- Carry out routine laboratory analyses as required
- Complete training courses as set out in the training matrix
- Provide relief for other operators as required
- Become competent in all aspects of plant operation
- Assisting maintenance staff if/when required
- Ensure that all alarms and trips of equipment related to the SIS and BMS safety systems are reported in the Incident Reporting Register
- Ensure all tanker loading is carried out efficiently and safely and all relevant records are accurate
