Description:
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, this role will lead a team of 6 staff, with key duties including:
- Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Manage month end function, including reporting and general ledger management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Manage and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
- Lead process improvement and ERP optimisation.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a strong background working within a commercial accounting environment. Key traits will also include:
- CA/CPA Qualified.
- People leadership exposure.
- Industry experience across FMCG, retail or wholesale (desired).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERPs and PowerBI.
