This opportunity is for a talented music composer to craft original scores for a film or series project. The role involves collaborating closely with the production team to develop a unique musical identity that enhances the narrative and emotional impact of the project. The position offers flexibility in terms of timeline and work arrangements, with a preference for candidates who can occasionally be present on-site in Rockhampton, Australia, though remote applicants willing to travel are also encouraged to apply. - Compose and produce original music tailored to the film or series’ themes and storylines
- Collaborate with the director and production team to align musical direction with creative vision
- Deliver high-quality audio files in required formats for post-production
- Revise and adapt compositions based on feedback from the creative team
- Ensure all music is original and properly licensed for use in the project
- Proven experience in composing music for film, television, or similar media projects
- Proficiency with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and music production software
- Strong understanding of cinematic scoring, orchestration, and sound design
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with creative teams
- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement, with occasional on-site presence in Rockhampton, Australia, or ability to travel as needed
- Excellent communication skills and openness to creative feedback
- Flexible availability to accommodate project timelines and revisions
