Description:
This is a phone based, B2B appointment setting role where you will identify and qualify leads, then book high quality appointments for the sales team. You'll work from a lead database (including sources like Yellow Pages) and apply strategic judgement to ensure viability before engaging. This is not a script based, high volume call centre role, it's about quality outreach, curiosity, and creating opportunities through smart conversations.
You'll partner closely with a Business Development Manager and play a key role in driving growth. Once on boarding is complete, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home.
- Make outbound calls to potential clients to promote services.
- Identify and qualify leads through effective communication and questioning.
- Schedule appointments for the sales team with prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records of calls and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call and appointment targets.
- Provide accurate information about services and address client inquiries.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth transitions.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to improve client engagement.
Requirements:
A successful Telemarketer should have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in customer service or telemarketing ideally within a commercial setting.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to achieving targets.
- Experience in real estate (land or commercial) or service-based B2B sales (e.g., commercial cleaning ) is a bonus!
