About The Team

The Strategy and Performance team has oversight of the Queensland Early Childhood Workforce Strategy and has a key role in the provision of advice and support for early childhood program development, analysis and data services. The team also undertakes an assurance function for the provision of kindergarten subsidies to childcare services.

Your Role

  • As Director of a team of 14 positions, you will provide leadership and guidance to the team in delivering on priority projects and work . You will provide policy and program advice to senior executives and maintain productiverelationships with key stakeholders .


Responsibilities Include

  • Provide strategic analysis and advice on risks and opportunities in implementing the Department's strategic objectives
  • Lead a team to deliver outcomes and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Represent the Department at high level stakeholder meetings and forums
  • Establish networks within the department and across government and the early childhood education and care sector to solve complex problems and achieve positive outcomes through collaboration and co-design.
