As an Administrative Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative and reception support across all hospital departments, ensuring patient care and service delivery are never compromised by staff leave or changing priorities.
- Provide professional, courteous reception services to patients, families and staff
- Manage patient enquiries, admissions, discharges and transfers using electronic systems
- Process clinical and administrative documentation accurately and on time
- Support wards, outpatient clinics, ambulatory care and support services as required
- Prepare reports, manage mail, and complete a wide range of general administrative tasks

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role.
- Demonstrated experience in word processing, data entry Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and the ability to liaise effectively with senior personnel, departmental managers, staff and visitors.
- Capacity to work flexibly and efficiently with a multidisciplinary team with superior customer service skills
- Demonstrated organisational skills with ability to manage several projects concurrently.
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to work 24 hours 7-day rotating roster
