About The Role

We’re looking for a confident and creative Interior Designer to join our growing Health team in Brisbane. Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you’ll contribute to the planning, design and documentation of health and science projects, focusing on interior architecture while collaborating seamlessly across the wider architectural scope.

Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with senior designers and project leaders, assisting with concept development, detailed design and documentation, while building your specialist experience in health and science environments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with project and design leads to develop and deliver design concepts through to documentation and delivery
  • Support the team to prepare presentation packages and articulate strongproject narratives
  • Prepare architectural documentation and schedules ensuring a high level of quality
  • Coordination with internal and external consultant coordination teams
  • Mentor and guide junior designers as part of a growing studio team

About You

We’re excited to welcome someone who brings creativity, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset and who is keen to deepen their experience in health and science projects. You’ll ideally have:

  • 3-5+ years’ post-graduate experience in interiors, with health or complex project experience preferred, but not essential
  • Strong concept design and design development skills
  • A confident, clear communication style - visually, verbally, and in writing
  • Solid understanding of construction methodology, materials procurement, and delivery of interior architecture projects
  • Strong Revit documentation skills (BIM knowledge preferred)
  • Familiarity with National Code of Construction and relevant Australian Standards
  • Advanced visualisation skills using Enscape, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience with, or interest in, data-driven planning tools such as dRofus to improve processes
  • Good time management skills with the ability to take ownership of delegated tasks without constant supervision
