Description:
- Process and manage accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors in line with company policies.
- Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding payment queries.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Requirements:
A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
- Adaptable mindset, dealing with a manual process
- A good understanding of accounting principles and practices in the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
Conditions:
- Hourly rate of $32.0 to $40.0.
