Are you a seasoned operator ready to launch, build, and lead a new market from the ground up?Our client, a global leader in FMCG solutions, is entering the ANZ region and is looking for a dynamic Country Manager to take the reins. This is more than just a management role. You'll be the architect of growth , responsible for setting up import, logistics, legal compliance, and building a robust sales and distribution network across Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Establish legal, regulatory, and logistics operations (ABN, IOR, DG compliance)
- Build and manage distribution networks across AUS + NZ
- Close B2B sales with hospitality, catering and wholesale partners
- Develop a strong local brand and digital presence
- Hire and manage a small, high-performing local team
- Deliver AUD 800K+ revenue in Year 1 with 35% margin targets
- 7-10+ years in industrial gases, FMCG, or foodservice logistics
- Ability to establish and maintain networks for selling products and services
- Proven experience in product launches, distribution setup, or ANZ market entry
- Strong knowledge of Australian Dangerous Goods and Poisons regulations
- Self-starter mindset — entrepreneurial, analytical, hands-on
- Strong commercial acumen, reporting skills (Excel, CRM, Power BI)
