About the role
JSLmedia is seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Weight Designer to join our dynamic team in Canberra. As a Mid-Weight Designer, you will play a crucial role in driving the visual identity and creative excellence of our clients' brands. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for conceptualising and producing exceptional design work that captivates and engages the right audience.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with clients and the creative team to develop innovative design solutions that align with brand strategies and objectives
- Create visually stunning designs across a variety of mediums, including print, digital, multimedia and web design
- Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and deliver a cohesive, polished aesthetic
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the quality of our work
- Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines to deliver high-quality work within set timeframes
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience as a professional graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Wordpress, Shopify, Duda, Canva and Mailchimp.
- Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and composition
- Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into visually compelling designs
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and the creative team
