Description:
- Lead the development and implementation of workplace health and safety (WHS) strategies.
- Drive the integration of a WHS Business Partnering model across multiple operational verticals.
- Oversee risk management initiatives and implement preventative measures.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on WHS matters.
- Lead the implementation and management of safety initiatives across the business
- Monitor and report on WHS performance and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Develop safety capability across functional leadership teams.
- Work closely with the executive leadership team to develop and embed safety strategy.
Requirements:
A successful GM of WHS should have:
- Minimum of Diploma level qualification in WHS
- Extensive Safety leadership experience in a heavy industrial, resources or utilities environment
- Strong knowledge of WHS regulations and best practices in Australia.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective safety strategies.
- Excellent abilities to influence across business lines and develop productive relationships at all levels of an organisation
Conditions:
- Competitive salary package ranging from AUD 220,000 to AUD 250,000.
