The opportunity as Program Risk and Assurance you will be:

  • Supporting the Program Office Portfolio Risk Analyst in undertaking project assurance and risk analysis.
  • Identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks within the program.
  • Utilizing risk frameworks, risk registers, and risk matrices to assess risk health.
  • Conducting internal audits, assurance reviews, health checks, quality reviews, and independent assurance reviews.
  • Assisting with the compilation of program/project information, maintenance of program/project files, and preparation and presentation of management reports.
  • Coordinating and providing secretariat support for the Program's governance boards and committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, distributing meeting papers, and recording accurate minutes.
  • Ensuring efficient setup of meetings, including logistical arrangements, technology support, and distribution of relevant materials.
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders, including high-level executives and their assistants, to facilitate meeting coordination and ensure timely flow of information.
  • Maintaining and managing program inboxes, records, action registers, and following up on committee decisions to support governance and accountability.
  • Preparing and formatting correspondence, briefing materials, and reports in accordance with governance requirements and departmental standards.
  • Supporting the implementation of governance processes by ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and Terms of Reference.
  • Fostering positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective communication and coordination.


What You Need to Bring

  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes, and accountabilities.
  • Proven experience in providing high-level administration support, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and meeting coordination.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and key stakeholders professionally.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail in handling governance and committee-related matters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant digital collaboration tools to support meeting setup, coordination, and document management.
