The Capability branch is in the State Schools Strategy Division. The Capability branch is committed to investing in professional expertise for a confident and professional workforce to deliver what matters for every student. A key function of the Capability branch is the Education Futures Institute (EFI) that delivers high-quality, targeted and evidence-informed capability development for a multi-disciplinary workforce.
About The Role
As a Project Officer, you will play an important role in leading and coordinating the delivery of high-quality professional learning.
Key Functions Of This Role Include
- Planning and coordinating capability programs and associated activities to meet key objectives and timelines.
- Working collaboratively with staff, key stakeholders and delivery partners to support effective implementation of key capability programs and initiatives.
- Supporting administration and organisation of program activities, including program planning, communications, procurement, budget, reporting and monitoring.
- Preparing planning documentation, reports, presentations and other written correspondence.
- Supporting program monitoring and evaluation activities to achieve continuous improvement.
About You
The ideal applicants are individuals who demonstrate:
- Understanding of the vision and strategic directions of the Department of Education
- Flexibility to work across a number of priorities.
- High level writing and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and coordination skills.

- Attach a maximum 2-page written response using minimum 10pt font outlining your suitability for the role in response to the attached role description and within the context of the role as described above.
