About the Role


Do you have experience designing creative, inspiring, professional publications and graphics and are looking for your next career move? We are on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Graphic Designer to join our Communications Team.


You will work with all groups of Council to provide creative graphic design services for print and online audiences. You will be responsible for strengthening the City of Ryde’s brand and promoting its services, events and initiatives through designing and delivering a range of high quality publications and web graphics, from concept to finished art. You will also be responsible for assisting with producing content for Council’s web site.


Applying your proven experience working in a similar role, you will work well independently and with a supportive and progressive team to come up with creative solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic individual.



About You



  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Web Design, Multimedia, Communications or relevant field
  • Experience in designing creative and professional publications, including long form documents and web graphics
  • Experience in designing and coordinating a range of publications and promotional material from concept to finished art
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and foster relationships, both internally and externally


Your commencing annual salary will range from $84,308.22 to $96,954.45 + Superannuation dependent on your experience and qualifications.
