As true industry leaders, this company dominates their market across Australia and New Zealand and is seeking the skills of a HR Coordinator to join the business and support various line managers with tasks relating to people and projects.

Duties will include:

  • Create and manage job advertisements for vacancies and coordinate the recruitment process
  • Update Position Descriptions prior to new hiring commencement and prior to the performance appraisal cycle
  • Update, develop and implement HR policies under the guidance of the Head of HR
  • Assist with legal compliance across the HR functions as directed by the Head of HR.
  • Drive the performance appraisal annual review and provide support to managers and employees as required
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and staff engagement to ensure a smooth experience for all staff
  • Maintain ELMO HRIS system ensuring data integrity
  • Roll out training modules as per the training calendar, updating training calendar every six months ensuring compliance modules are included
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities to promote continuous improvement plans to achieve engagement and retention
  • Participate in broader HR / WHS projects including engagement surveys, system rollouts, process improvements and incident & accident records
  • Keep 3rd party subcontractor management portals updated with company compliance documents such as insurances and workers compensation certificates
  • Ensure all SOP are reviewed and updated regularly across the HR function
  • Develop and maintain the company Event Planning Calendar and assist with or run specific events
  • Undertake administrative duties as required by Head of HR.

To be successful in this role, you would have an ability to multi-task, high attention to detail and be able to build rapport with staff members.
