About The Role
Journey Beyond is currently seeking enthusiastic Guest Service Attendants to join our Alice Springs Guest Services Team. In this role your primary responsibility will be providing high quality service and experiences for our Ghan guests embarking on off-train tours within Alice Springs.
A uniform will be provided to allow you to maintain professionalism and personal presentation in line with our company personality.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing guest service as a tour host and Ghan representative for our off-train tour experiences
- Greeting and assisting guests upon arrival and departure in Alice Springs, both on tour and at the terminal
- Provide on-board commentary, if required, throughout the tour
- Food and beverage service at terminal and on tour
- Operating the souvenir and merchandise area
- Other duties as requested
Monday: 1:00pm - 6pm
Thursday: 8:30am - 10:00pm
April to October:
Sunday: 10:30am - 10:00pm
Monday - 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Thursday - 8:30am - 10:00pm
About You
Candidates with demonstrated experience delivering high quality guest service in a front of house hospitality environment will be highly regarded. Local knowledge, a passion for Alice Springs and customer service. Outstanding presentation and communication skills are essential.
Given the varied departure times of our train journeys, the successful applicant will require flexibility with their working hours, including weekend and public holidays.
