Your role within Housing and Homelessness Services will support the department to deliver innovative and accountable program development and management of the department’s investment in social housing and homelessness services. The role will include management of outsourced service delivery to ensure the initiatives improve the long-term housing outcomes for Queenslanders. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us.You will contribute to the efficient and effective management of programs and projects applying professional and operational knowledge to assist with the management and reform of programs, focussing on outcomes for clients.
What You Will Be Doing
- Contribute to the effective strategic and operational management and reform of social housing programs delivered by the department or by third parties.
- Apply project management frameworks to successfully complete project tasks for program and projects management.
- Monitor, model, evaluate and report against social housing policy and program performance and offer solutions to meet departmental requirements.
- Use strong interpersonal communication to establish the culture and standard for team communication to ensure positive team performance and high levels of motivation and satisfaction.
- Assist in the timely preparation of accurate and high quality ministerial and executive correspondence.
- Liaise and work collaboratively across the department, other government agencies and other stakeholders to support the management of programs.
