You will assist in connecting industry, businesses, community, and government at all levels to create place-based solutions that leverage regional strengths and unlock sustainable growth. This is your chance to be part of a team that supports new industry development, attracts new investors to Queensland, works with existing business to be part of major projects and contributes to the economic prosperity of the region.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Assist and engage in the promotion of departmental service offerings to support regional economic growth and supply chain development
  • Assist and engage in the coordination and delivery of departmental programs, industry initiatives, workshops, industry events
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and other government agencies to support the delivery of regional outcomes
  • Facilitate connections across government and non-government agencies to progress regional projects that align to Departmental priority industries
  • Support regional leadership and capacity building to deliver on economic priorities of regional communities
  • Identify opportunities and contribute positively to team activities including project planning and implementation
