YOUR NEW ROLE

As a People & Culture Specialist at Altius, you will report to the Lead People & Culture Partner and will step into a hands-on HR generalist role with your responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Providing first level generalist advice and guidance to managers and employees on matters across the employment lifecycle
• Administering people systems and processes throughout the employment life cycle
• Overseeing and managing the people helpdesk ticketing system to manage, escalate and resolve general level queries and requests
• Demonstrating an understanding and interpretation of employment conditions, policies, modern awards and legislative requirements
• Developing strong relationships with stakeholders across the broader Altius Group
• Playing a role in supporting the implementation of key People & Culture projects
• The role will be based in our Subiaco office, in Perth
  
  

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US

• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar discipline is highly desirable however not essential
• Previous experience working within the Health Care Industry is preferable however not essential
• Knowledge of Fair Work Legislation and Modern Awards
• Detailed and process oriented with a flair for working within people (HR) systems such as Elmo Software
• Strong familiarisation of employment lifecycle processes and experience in managing key employment related events
• A proactive, solutions-focused problem solver who works collaboratively
