The Roles
We are recruiting for two junior positions within our Joinery Division:
Junior Factory Labourer
Junior Machine Shop Operator
These are entry-level roles supporting the manufacturing and production of joinery components. Both positions are full-time, Monday to Friday, offering stable hours and genuine work life balance.
Successful candidates will be placed into the role best suited to their skills, experience, and interests.
Key Responsibilities
(Duties will vary depending on the role)
General labouring duties within the factory and machine shop
Safely operating joinery and workshop machinery (e.g. saws, sanders, joinery machines)
Preparing, loading, unloading, and organising timber and joinery materials
Measuring, cutting, shaping, and preparing components for joinery manufacturing
Monitoring machine performance and supporting quality output
Ensure daily and weekly maintenance programs set by Factor Foreman and carried out as required
Maintaining cleanliness of the factory and machine shop in line with WHS requirements
Assisting with inbound and outbound goods, deliveries, and pickups as required
Supporting daily and weekly maintenance programs set by the Factory Foreman
Adhering to all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures
Representing the business professionally and aligning with company values
About You
We are looking for motivated individuals who:
Have experience in a workshop, manufacturing, joinery, or similar environment (preferred but not essential)
Are comfortable using hand tools and basic machinery, or keen to learn
Have strong attention to detail and a safety-focused mindset
Can work well independently and as part of a team
Are physically fit, reliable, and capable of manual tasks
Are interested in building a long-term career in joinery or manufacturing
Licences & Requirements
White Card (Construction Induction) – required or willing to obtain
Driver Licence – required (manual licence)
Forklift Licence (LF) – desirable but not essential
Manual handling or machine safety training – desirable
